  1. I'm curious why those results are surprising? I think you write theology extremely well. It's not filled with self-important sophistry nor is it filled with unnecessary academic boasting. It is written from your heart about a subject you are in delightfully in touch with.

  2. Thanks so much, LA. You're so sweet!! I guess it's always surprising to me when people are actually interested in theology, which can be dull.

Also, I tread extremely carefully (though that may not be apparent:-) when I blog on theological subjects, since I am academically trained in English Literature, but have taught myself theology through the years. Very self-taught!

  3. Anita, I think that's part of what makes your theology "approachable". I find that sometimes theology gets mired in minutiae which leads us into a rabbit hole of unnecessarily complex discussion. This then leads us, I feel away from the central message of Christ and into legalistic thinking. What you present is that central message...your posts seem to strip away all the hype and dig right to the topic in a way that is clear, relevant and understandable. I'm glad I stumbled upon you from the Beaker Folk.

  4. Thank you again. You are very kind indeed.

And your comments are generous and brilliant. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I am fairly low-energy these days, and all my energy going into my writing, so I don't leave many comments any more, but so appreciate my generous readers!!
